Getting to Marquette

The easiest way to reach Marquette is by flying into Marquette Sawyer Regional Airport (MQT), located about 22 minutes from downtown Marquette.

While Uber and Lyft aren’t available, taxis do run from MQT. 

Since there are only a few flights each day, we may also help coordinate a shared van for guests who won’t have a car, just be sure to note this on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

You may also find good flight options in other Upper Peninsula airports, including:

Ford Airport (IMT) in Iron Mountain, MI

Delta County Airport (ESC) in Escanaba, MI

Both airports are a bit farther out and will require a rental car to get to Marquette.

If you’d rather fly into a larger city and enjoy a scenic drive, approximate travel times to Marquette are:

Chicago: ~7 hours

Minneapolis: ~7 hours

Detroit: ~7 hours

Milwaukee: ~5 hours

Green Bay: ~3 hours
